Lailey Winery strives for ecological production by relying not on high technology, but on the knowledge and experience gained over the years. The goal is sustainable development and to become a “farm of the future”.
In their work, manufacturers prefer manual labor to machining, and that`s way reducing fuel costs and making production more environmentally friendly. Natural fertilizers such as grape pomace and others are used. Biodegradable materials are mainly used, and the fruits are harvested by hand, which preserves their integrity and shows much more care for nature.
The barrels themselves used for storage are used several times, after which they are suitable for making bottle racks or decorations.
In the whole process of making wine machines are almost never used. The wine is moved with as little pump use as possible.
During the winter months, the cold plays the role of a natural stabilizer.
In the winery, there is a possibility to organize small events. During them, the food served is exclusively from local producers, thus promoting local production.
Tours, tastings, and events with fewer people are organized often.
The winery dates back to 1973 when the Lailey`s were only grape growers and suppliers to nearby wineries.
Today, the winery offers various tours lasting from 15 to 45 minutes and the possibility of online reservations (at least for the day ahead). You have the opportunity to enjoy wines that have won awards and are in the top lists of favorite flavors.
Lailey Winery is a place that does not compromise on quality, hospitality and good service. A visit there guarantees a pleasant stay, an educational tour and a friendly attitude.
