The Upside Down House or the Whoopsy House
The Upside Down House is one of the relatively new attractions in the Clifton Hill area. However, a visit there will certainly confuse and obscure your mind and orientation and will be one of the most fun experiences during your trip.
As the name suggests, the house looks literally as if the roof is turned down. The entire exterior and interior inside are inverted.
Created by two Polish, Marek Cyran and Daniel Czapiewski, the house is open to visitors, and children under 4 are allowed free. The working hours are as follows:
Monday to Thursday |
12 a.m. – 10 p.m. |
Friday |
12 a.m. – 11 p.m. |
Saturday |
10 a.m. -11 p.m. |
Sunday |
10 a.m. -10 p.m. |
It is impossible not to notice the Upside Down House on your way to the area. And a visit there is definitely worth it and will be fun for the whole family.
