Beautiful Queen Victoria Park Niagara Falls

Queen Victoria Park is the crown jewel of the Niagara Parks and is the main area to visit the majestic Niagara Falls. Landmarked by the Niagara Escarpment, the Niagara Gorge and the Niagara River, the park is home to a world-famous collection of native and international flora.

Most plants are labeled for the education of local and out-of-town visitors. The park offers a romantic stone garden, a rose garden, and attractive rug bed displays. The convenient number of park benches and finely manicured lawns provide a pleasant opportunity for the weary traveler to relax.

Landscape illumination is an integral part of the park’s environment, as is the illumination of the Falls.

Queen Victoria Park celebrates in style every season. Every spring, 500,000 daffodils announce the arrival of this season in a natural, welcoming way. Magnificent magnolias, stunning tulips, and other spring-blooming plants are the hosts of springtime in the park.

Summer showcases many carpet bed displays throughout the park as well as 1000’s of flora. The standards of Lantana and Magenta, coleus, cannas, and many others offer many beautiful landscapes that appeal to any type of visitor, including horticultural experts.

In the fall, chrysanthemums and kale were grown to extend the season and to provide interest after the first frost of the season arrived.

The bare branches of trees and shrubs create interesting natural visuals for our visitors during the winter season, especially when covered with ice from the freezing mist of the Falls, and the park transforms itself as the main home of the Winter Festival of Lights into a Winter Wonderland.
