The Prospect Point Observation Tower rises above Niagara George on the American side of the Falls. The building is the only place from which you can get a complete view of the American Falls and Horseshoe Falls.
The tower is 86 meters high and is visited annually by over 80 million tourists. It was built in 1961 and in 2001 and 2003 improvements and repairs were made.
Admission to the park is free, but there are taxes for the Observation Tower and all other attractions. The fee for the Observation Tower is $1.25, but if you buy a ticket for the attractions it is canceled.
You can also use the lift to get down to where the Maid of the Mist boats depart, or just look at the waterfalls from another angle.
The opening hours of Prospect Point Tower are from 8.30 in the morning to 10.30 in the evening and the access for tourists also depends on the weather conditions.
