Niagara Glen

Niagara Glen Nature Preserve is a large nature preserve located in the middle of Niagara Falls on the Canadian side of the great Niagara Whirlpool. It’s one of only two remaining examples of early Southern Ontario’s native Carolinian forest, and it is also one of the few remaining examples of Southern Ontario’s old, historic forests. This large park is operated by a private organization, the Niagara Parks Commission. The Park has its own website that offers a great deal of information, as well as the ability to view a virtual tour of what this park has to offer.

This park was developed by the first official explorers of Niagara Falls, the Dutch, in the early 1700s. They set up camp there and worked for years. When the first Europeans arrived, they were amazed by the natural beauty, and they even named it the “Dutchman’s paradise.” In fact, they lived there for several years. Then, they decided to clear part of the land and develop a large park with trails, picnic areas, and other activities. It wasn’t long before they realized that the park would be a big success, and they added a lot of beautiful features in order to maintain its charm.

Most of this park is made up of a series of trails that go through some of those wonderful woodlands. The park features many different species of wildlife, and you can see them in their natural habitat. They include all types of animals, like deer, squirrels, bear, waterfowl, coyotes, and a lot more. They have even built a bird sanctuary in the center of the park, which makes the park one of a kind. This park is maintained by staff who have lots of experience in this field. This gives you an added sense of safety and also gives you a chance to see a large variety of animals up close and personal. You can also go hiking at the end of some trails to get a nice view of Niagara Falls.
