The owner Klaus Reif grows grapes on a 125-acre site, and the winemaker Roberto DiDomenico has everything he needs to produce world-class wines.
What distinguishes Reif Estate Winery is their Sensory Garden, where you can feel the aromas and colors of different grape varieties, to taste the typical varieties of the region.
Walking in the garden with a glass of wine in hand is certainly a relaxing and recharging experience. You can also try a specially selected cheese platter. The tour in the garden is possible in the warm months from May to October in the time zone of 10 a.m. up to 5 p.m.
The aroma of grapefruit and coriander spreads in the gardens of Sauvignon Blanc, and in the garden of Chardonnay, you can feel the astringent aroma of lemongrass and the sweetness of vanilla.
Red wines such as Gamay Noir and Pinot Noir are of course associated with red berries and some spices such as rosemary. There is also a part of the garden where are presented the grape varieties, from which heavy red wines such as Merlot are produced – there your receptors will be flooded with the aroma of chocolate and oregano.
This unison between colors, flavors, and aromas will surely remain an unforgettable experience for every visitor to the garden.
For groups of up to 15 people, dinner is also available in the cellar, where you are surrounded by the authentic look of the wine cellar. Different types of tours are also available – Tasting Sensory, Taste the Terroir, Legacy Tour, depending on the way you want to spend your time in the winery.
